How apprenticeship funding works

Each apprenticeship has a government funding band: the most that can be spent on training and assessment for that standard. You can see the band on every course card above.

Employers with an annual pay bill over £3 million pay the Apprenticeship Levy: 0.5% of the pay bill, minus a £15,000 annual allowance. Smaller employers do not pay the levy and usually share a small part of the training cost.

Who delivers the training? We will confirm here whether Startup Help Squad delivers these apprenticeships itself or introduces you to an approved training provider.
